The chemistry department is an inaugural year department. It was set up with a well furnished laboratory since the first year. It is now associated with a weighment room. The Chemisty Department strives hard to maintain good academic record
The teaching-learning process is enhanced and updated regularly by various modes like Competitions in the form of Chemical Rangoli, Chemistry Exhibitions, while academically students are engaged in Research work to help them face their future studies

The Department also conducts various Seminars and Workshops in order to give the students an in detailed explanation in topics that are challenging and difficult to comprehend. Heads of companies are also invited to explain the scope of the subject in the industry.
