Established in the year 2011, the Botany Department has had a significant presence in the past ten years. The department teaches Botany in curriculam with other Courses like ., Nutrition, Botany, Zoology (NBZ), ., Nutrition, Botany, Chemistry (NBC). The department consists of a fully equipped laboratory, which is the hub of the botanical investigation.
The laboratory has specimens, microscopes, and permanent slides, latest method of physiological experiment, Microscope (Compound, Dissecting), Anemometer, Dry and wet bulbs thermometer, Rain Gauge to help carry out the prescribed experiments
The members of the department are highly qualified and benefit the Organization by their knowledge and experience and aid the students in carrying out Research- Based work for better subject knowledge.
Webinars, workshops, competitions, within and outside the college are encouraged and planned to expand the knowledge base of the students
It polishes the skills of the student by promoting curricular and extracurricular activities
