Recreational activity, such as music, academic clubs, and sports, give students an opportunity to learn the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, physical strength and endurance, competition, diversity, and a sense of culture and community.
Co-Curricular activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and are thus considered part of a well-rounded education
The Cultural & Recreational Council is designed to create opportunities for students to develop themselves in areas that are not covered in the Academic syllabus and to give exposure to students about the demands of the competitive world that they will soon face
The College encourages competitions primarily within the College. However, inter-college Competitions, Participation in other College Competitions is also encouraged by the Council. Students are regularly updated about the various meets, workshops, seminars or competitions that are held in the City and motivated to give winning entries.
Physical activity is also encouraged to keep the body and mind healthy. Games such as table tennis, badminton, Tennis, Chess, races etc are taken up by students so that they develop the competitive spirit and face both glory and failure and learn life lessons from both.
Activities that help the young souls to breathe and express themselves in this busy world like, painting, sketching, poetry writing & recitation, henna designing, etc are also conducted where budding artists and writers are felicitated .
