A Grievance cell is formed for the redressal of the issues reported by the students. To realize the primary needs of students and staff and secure civil liberties for everybody, this cell is working in college. It has been created in the college to resolve issues related to student’s problems, develop responsive and accountable attitude

he committee works to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the Institution. Periodical meetings are conducted and necessary steps are taken to address the genuine grievance. Prompt action will be taken by the committee after receiving the written grievance from students

REDRESSAL PROCESS:

The redressal process is a mechanism to address and resolve the grievance of the student who considers that, she has been subject to unjust or biased behaviour with respect to academic affairs in accordance with rules & regulations of the college.


The complaint management is carried out in the following way in the institution:


  • CLASS INCHARGE/MENTOR: The grievance should be first addressed to the concerned class incharge or mentor of the class. The class incharge will look into the case and resolve it through counselling.
  • Unresolved grievances will be forwarded to the Grievance redressal cell of the institution.
  • GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE: The Committee members are designated to resolve the problems at their level through discussion with students.
  • Considering the intensity and seriousness of the issue, due inquiry is made by the committee members.
  • The members will analyse the matter and through personal discussion the grievance is solved.
  • In case the members do not come to the conclusion on the matter, then the issue is referred to the Higher authority.
  • Decision of the committee & Higher authority is deemed final and the strict action will be taken to avoid such insurances in the future.


PROCEDURE TO REGISTER COMPLAINT:

Anyone with a genuine complaint can approach the Class Incharge /Mentor/GRC in person. In case any student is hesitant to appear in self, complaint can be dropped in writing at the suggestion box /letterbox. The Grievance committee will take action upon those cases which have been received from the complaint box.

The Grievance Committee ensures timely and speedy redressal of the complaints with promptness for maintaining peace and harmony in the institution.
