The Department of App. Nutrition & PH was set up in the year of College inception. It has grown from a humble department
with one Laboratory and one section to a prominent Department with two exclusive laboratories, well- versed staff, variety
of books collection in the College Library and almost four sections.
The growing demand of the subject needs that the department keeps honing the skills of the staff and students to gear up
for the current advances in the Field of Nutrition and the competition they will face. Various programs are organized by the
College for the students with in the College so that they represent and express themselves on bigger platform. The students
are encouraged to attend webinars and workshops in the Lockdown to keep them updated about the advances in the
subject even during this tough time.
“Nutroids” is the celebration done by the department every year to get all the students in interactive mode with the rest of
the College and Open the doors of Nutrition to the other courses. It involves not only competitions but also has fairs and
food festival to help the students enjoy the fruits of their hard work.
The Department aims at giving an edge to the students above the current competitors so that they can easily make a mark
in the field.
