WORLD POPULATION DAY

World Population Day is celebrated annually on 11th July to focus attention on the urgency and importance of population issues. The department of commerce and management has celebrated “World Population Day” on Thursday 11th July 2024. The theme was “Investing in Data Collection”, where the students have participated in various competitions like slogan writing, Infrographics, PPT Presentation, drama etc… Student highlighted the “Importance of data collection in controlling the population through PPT Presentations. Students have shown their creativity and enthusiasm by participating in all the competitions held. Problems due to overpopulation and measures to overcome such problems was brought to the notice of audience by slogan writing, drama and infrography competitions. World Population Day serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to address population challenges towards a sustainable future where everyone can thrive in harmony with the environment. The ceremony concluded with prize distribution.
