World Animal Day

As part of world animal day, an international day of action for animal rights and welfare the zoology department under the guidance of HOD Shahnawaz Sultana, organised an awareness programme on the theme “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration”. The main aim to celebrate the programme is to raise the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe. Building the celebration of World Animal Day unites the animal welfare movement, mobilising in to a global force to make the world a better place for all animals. The first day of awareness programme included Competitions like poster presentations, wild tattoo art, dragon font. The students showed their artistic skills in tattoo art and high level of creativity in dragon font. Day 2 began with events like PPT, where students came up with innovative presentations. Then the students created awareness by performing various skits on conservation of animals. On Day 3 Students visited Nehru Zoological Park as a part of field trip. The Students were awarded certificates & medals for their efforts by Principal Madam. The day ended by finally releasing balloons and birds as part of Conveying message for saving animals.
