On 16 september 2022,on the occasion of world Ozone Day,Department of Botany organised an awareness programme on the theme “Montreal Protocol-Global cooperation protecting life on Earth”.Under the supervision of Mrs Nazia HOD of Botany Department and Ms.Najma Banu lecturer in Botany. The principal aim of the Montreal protocol is to protect the ozone layer by taking measures to control total global production and consumption of substances that deplete it,with the ultimate objective of their elimination on the basis of development in scientific knowledge and technological information. The various competition such as Power Point presentation ,Awareness on SPF products and Beaucraft(planting of trees) were conducted to create awareness on protecting life on Earth. The Students of B.Sc actively participated and demonstrated their creative talents with a startling array of innovative and beautiful Models/Poster/PPT and spoke on the importance of protecting ozone layer by planting trees with live examples. Participants were appreciated by medals and certificates.
