The commerce department started in the year 2011 with the commitment to provide excellent and quality education in the field of commerce to the students that meet the requirements of the society. The department offers undergraduate courses of B.Com and B.Com (Comp Applications).The course aims at making every commerce graduate eligible for professional studies such as CA, ICWA, CS and MBA and other master programmers in commerce and management. The department works to provide holistic and valued based education for overall personality development f the students. We prepare the students for higher education and train them with required skills for employment. We provide a nurturing and encouraging environment for the full potential of the students.
Research activities are initiated at the UG level where students work on the selected topics for better understanding of the subject and practical applicability of the things learned in the classroom.
Every year the department organizes Commerce Expo where the students explore their creative abilities and showcase their talents by preparing models and demonstrating their textbook knowledge in a realistic manner, which boost the students’ morale.
The First graduating batch of our college got marvelous result in the year 2014, where one of the students Juveria got 3rd rank in Osmania University.
We get almost 95% result in every subject every year and 100% result in subjects like cost and management accounting, auditing, accounting standards, financial institutions and market. Some students got perfect 10/10 GPA.
